The school accepts the GMAT on either scale, the GRE and the Executive Assessment, valid for five years, and grants a test waiver on request, supported by a short statement setting out the applicant’s situation and the reasons for judging them ready, the school having announced that it reviews such requests without prejudice.

The file includes a resume, a list of activities, transcripts from every programme followed, a statement of goals together with one essay chosen from two prompts, one on impact, the other on a distinctive trait, a second essay remaining optional, and a single professional letter of recommendation, a second remaining optional. The fee is $250, with a waiver under conditions.

An applicant whose first language is not English submits a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo. The interview is by invitation, and the scholarship covering full tuition requires, after the interview, an additional essay and attendance at a leadership assessment day.

Three application rounds, in September, January and April, with decisions issued in December, March and May, and filing by 11.59 p.m. New York time. Admission leads to the F-1 visa.

Who it is for

The professional with around five years of experience, drawn by a mid-sized class in a setting where campus life is dense and housing affordable by American standards. The average base salary is $161,967 for the class that left in 2024, a figure from a secondary source. Twelve months of Optional Practical Training, the STEM extension depending on the track followed.

One-year MBA in New York (Cornell Tech)

Grade de Master (Bac +5)|3 à 5 ans

Admissions

Admission requires a professional record consistent with the programme’s technology orientation. One procedural rule must be known: applications to the two programmes go to separate offices, the New York campus handling this course alone, and an applicant may apply to one of the university’s MBAs only.

The file includes a resume, essays, transcripts and letters of recommendation, with a priority deadline in the autumn. A GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment is required, the waiver policy announced by the school covering this programme too.

An applicant whose first language is not English submits a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo. As the programme is full-time on campus, it leads to the F-1 visa.

Who it is for

The professional who wants an MBA focused on technology entrepreneurship, in twelve months, on a New York campus designed with companies from the sector. The class numbers 74 students, with an average GMAT of 675, the most accessible on this page.

The programme is built around projects carried out with companies and with engineers from the campus, which makes it a route suited to an applicant targeting company creation or product management.

Costs

Tuition is $135,374 for the whole programme in 2025-2026, split between a summer term in Ithaca and the year in New York. The full cost of attendance reaches $189,159, of which $32,910 is housing, an effect of New York prices.

That total exceeds one year of the two-year programme but remains below its two years combined. One important reservation: the loan with no co-signer negotiated by the school is reserved for the two-year Ithaca programme, and does not apply here.

Outcomes

Graduates go into product management, technology start-ups and venture capital, with an obvious geographic advantage. The degree is the same as Ithaca’s and carries no distinguishing mention.

An applicant whose first language is not English submits a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo under the university’s rules.

The full-time on-campus format leads to the F-1 visa.

Who it is for

The quantitatively minded graduate targeting data analysis applied to business decisions. The programme runs across three periods, two summers framing a full academic year.

Costs

Total tuition is $87,500 for the 2025-2026 cohort, split into $21,875 for each of the two summers and $43,750 for the academic year. The full cost of attendance reaches $147,744, housing, food, books and transport included across all three periods.

That total exceeds the two-year MBA’s in tuition relative to length, which should be weighed before choosing between the two degrees.

Outcomes

Graduates go into data science, analytics and optimisation roles in technology, finance and consulting. The degree falls under STEM fields.

Executive MBA Americas

Grade de Master (Bac +5)|3 à 5 ans

The file includes transcripts, a resume, essays, letters of recommendation and an interview, with deadlines specific to this format and an annual intake in June.

An admission test is requested, GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment, the last being the most common at this level, with waivers frequent whose conditions were not established here. The English test conditions for a non-native speaker were likewise not established for this format.

A deposit of $5,000 is required on enrolment and credited against the first instalment. This format does not lead to the F-1 student visa.

Who it is for

The senior executive who wants the same degree on a weekend rhythm, with sessions spread across several North American sites and a distance component.

Costs

Total tuition is $198,234 for the cohort entering in June 2026, paid in five instalments. The school notes that this amount rests on the current rate, that for 2026-2027 not yet being set.

American federal loans are reserved for citizens and residents. The school states that students on this format, working professionals, generally do not borrow to cover their living costs.

Outcomes

Graduates progress within their organisation. Doctorate (PhD)

Grade de Master (Bac +5)|3 à 5 ans

Admissions

Admission is by field, through the university’s graduate school, for autumn entry only and with a deadline early in the calendar year.

A GMAT or GRE is required, unlike the MBA where a waiver exists, and an applicant whose first language is not English submits an English test under the graduate school’s rules.

The file includes a statement of purpose, a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, transcripts from every institution attended and a resume, for a single deadline of 15 December.

Two procedural rules must be known: an applicant may apply to one doctoral field only at the university, a transfer of the file remaining possible after a rejection; and applicants targeting strategy and business economics file with the economics field, not the management school.

As everywhere in the United States, doctoral entry is possible straight from a bachelor’s degree, with no master’s in between.

Who it is for

The researcher aiming at an academic career in management, finance, accounting, marketing, organisational behaviour or strategy, in an Ivy League university where the isolation of Ithaca favours continuous laboratory life.

Costs

The school makes only fully funded offers, its wording is explicit. The arrangement comprises a stipend of $48,687 at the rate effective 1 July 2025, complete tuition exemption and free inclusion in the university’s health plan, over five years. No separate aid request is to be filed, the application itself serving as the request.

One feature sets this programme apart from most others: because research is the priority, doctoral students are not required to teach to fund their studies. They need only complete the equivalent of three course assistantship credits across the programme, some fields encouraging more teaching as training.

One reservation useful to an applicant arriving with a family: the school states that doctoral students with children live on this stipend, but that insurance for dependants remains their own responsibility.

Where the MBA implies more than $125,000 a year, the doctorate costs nothing and pays.

Outcomes

Doctoral graduates join the management faculties of American and foreign universities, as well as the research departments of technology and financial companies. Key points
